Time and Relative Dimensions in Space

So many things about this picture make me happy. I'm at Dragon*Con. Wearing a corset. Standing in the TARDIS. My husband is behind the camera.

OK, so the TARDIS is not real. When I was a kid I read about people who had replicas in their back yards. I learned from talking to the owner of this one that plans can be found online. I want one in our garden. It's for the kids, I swear.

Our house

My husband and I are buying a house somewhere in Alabama. It's a lovely house built in the 1920s with hardwood floors and fireplaces and chandeliers and deep bathtubs and a sweet little garden in the backyard.

So many things about this house make me happy, and I'm sure it will be the subject of many posts in the coming years.
