Golden Rule B-B-Q

For a true taste of the south, look no further than Birmingham. The Southside neighborhood alone boasts seven restaurants serving barbeque in the Southern tradition.

One favorite among locals is Golden Rule Bar-B-Q and Grill. The original building, opened in 1891, was a roadside stop for travellers on the way to Atlanta and served as a gathering spot for locals.

Originally serving pork plates, beer and cigarettes, Golden Rule has expended its menu and grown to include 16 locations across Alabama.
